Puppy Adoptions

Our puppies receive routine deworming, are kept up to date on vaccinations, and are microchipped prior to going to their new homes. Each puppy also undergoes a comprehensive health and wellness examination by a licensed veterinarian to ensure they are healthy and thriving.

Beginning at four weeks of age, puppies are gently introduced to regular grooming, including brushing, nail trimming, and early dental care. We place a strong emphasis on socialization, helping each puppy become confident, well-adjusted, and comfortable in a variety of environments.

VIP Puppy Waitlist Deposit

As a responsible preservation breeder, we thoughtfully plan a limited number of litters each year with a focus on health, temperament, structure, and the preservation of the American Eskimo Dog breed. We also take pride in providing each family with a personalized, concierge-style adoption experience from the moment they join our waitlist through the day they welcome their puppy home.

To receive priority consideration for a puppy from a specific litter, families may join our VIP Puppy Waitlist with a $200 non-refundable deposit. This gives you priority access as puppies become available and allows us to begin working with you to find the best fit for your family.

VIP Puppy Reservation Deposit

Once your puppy is born, you may formally secure your reservation by completing the $800 VIP Puppy Adoption Deposit. If you have already submitted a VIP Puppy Waitlist $200 Deposit, that amount will be applied toward the $800 total.

The VIP Puppy Adoption Deposit is non-refundable but is transferable. The full $800 deposit is applied toward your puppy’s total Adoption Fee, with the remaining balance due on Adoption Day.

All deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfill your adoption.

*Note: Your VIP puppy deposit secures your puppy in a particular litter and is not the final puppy adoption fee.

Puppy Adoption Fee

The Puppy Adoption Fee is the total adoption fee, including  your VIP deposit(s) that were made. While our deposit fees are fixed, our puppy adoption fees vary as we provide different size eskimos, varying pedigrees, varying champion bloodlines, etc.

*Please contact us for our adoption fee regarding the litter you are interested in.

Our adoption fees are fully commensurate with the respective pedigrees, sizes, grand champion and champion bloodlines and show quality of each puppy.  What does not vary, however, is the amount of effort, socializing, energy, quality and time that we put into raising each puppy.  We strive to deliver the best experience possible to you.

Occasionally, there may arise unforeseen circumstances that occur that prevent WCAE from delivering your puppy. Rest assured that WCAE will make any reasonable attempt to ensure satisfaction. If we cannot deliver your puppy to you, we may refund your entire deposit(s). Your satisfaction is our highest priority.

Adoption Day Policy

Per California law, puppy adoptions may not take place prior to 56 days from birth. In our experience, our pups are typically ready for adoption between 9-12 weeks. Since we schedule our lives around our puppies, your puppy must be picked up during this time unless arrangements have been made with us for a different timeframe. We realize that periodically there are unforeseen circumstances and events that may cause a delay for a week, month or even longer. These time frames must be made known to us. The adoption time may be dependent on our schedules and/or new litters that require our utmost attention. We do strive to assist our pet-parents in all scheduling accommodations. For more information please read our Adoption Day Policy.

Limited Registration

If you are interested in breeding your AE puppy, kindly advise.  Breeding is not a right and we always ensure that it is both considered and taken very seriously. It is a lot of work, time, expense and dedication. The welfare of our puppies and dogs always come first with us.

AKC Puppies are adopted with limited AKC registration. 'PR' UKC puppy adoptions may receive their registration registration after the puppy has been fixed. This is usually about year one.

Our Commitment

Every puppy we raise is part of our family until the day they become part of yours. We are committed to responsible preservation breeding, thoughtful puppy raising, and providing our families with a supportive, personalized adoption experience from beginning to end.
